Payment Methods

We currently support the following payment methods:

MainPC verifies the shipping and billing information of all online orders. Please use a shipping address you have already registered with your credit card company and provide a valid billing address. Subject to a possible delay or cancellation if orders do not meet such criteria. Payment is due before shipment, unless credit terms have been arranged in advance with MainPC credit department. In such case, payment terms shall be as set forth in the credit agreement.

Credit Cards

MainPC will only ship to the billing address of your credit card. To ship to a secondary address please contact your credit card company and have them note the alternate shipping address. This procedure will not affect your billing information whatsoever, and will be automatically be deleted from your account within 24 hours. Our policy protects you, the consumer against credit card fraud and only takes a moment of your time. Please pay notice that it is the customer's responsibility to follow our credit card policy regarding shipping addresses. By not following these procedures your order will be delayed in shipping.

C.O.D Cashier's Checks

C.O.D Cashier's Checks will only be accepted by our domestic customers. Please fax a copy of the cashiers check to (425) 778-3535 to have your order shipped out. Your order will not be processed without faxing a copy of the check. Please don't mail us the check, it must be present at the time of delivery of your equipment by the mail carrier.

Checks, Wire Transfers & Money Orders

If you prefer to pay by check or money order, we're happy to accommodate you. Please note that we cannot ship your products until payment is received and verified. Product availability may be affected by this delay. Orders paid by check or money order will be released to our warehouse after payment has cleared the bank.

Credit

If a product is returned for reasons such as "general dissatisfaction with performance", incompatibility with existing hardware/software, or other reasons not the fault of MainPC, we may accept your return within 7 days of shipping the product to you. There is a 20% restocking fee on all returns.

Due to copyright laws, software is non-refundable once opened, seal broken, or installed.

Printers, whether working or defective, are non-returnable/non-exchangeable once the cartridges are opened and/or installed. We only sell full retail versions of printers that can be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty service.

Prices on computer products generally drop, and we may not accept your request for credit on a product if the price has dropped significantly. In the case of a significant price drop, we may offer you a credit amount according to the current selling price.

Back Orders

In the event that a product is not available at the time of invoicing then MainPC will place the item on Back Order. The product will be shipped to the customer as soon as the part is available. If the customer would like the Back Ordered part to be placed in "will call" for pick up then he/she must notify MainPC (contact@mainpc.com).

International Orders

MainPC does not accept international orders.

Shipping policy

Shipping charges are non-refundable, F.O.B. Mill Creek, WA. MainPC will arrange payment for shipping with the carrier, but such costs are the responsibility of customer. Risk of loss is upon customer once the product is delivered to the carrier. Delivery times are estimates only and MainPC shall not be liable for delays. We ship via UPS (United Parcel Service of America) to the 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, and Alaska. We don't ship to PO Boxes, or ship via US Postal Service. We have right to change shipping method based on weight.

In case of product replacements, MainPC covers reasonable shipping charges to the customer. The customer pays for returning the product(s) to MainPC.

Late Shipments

Contact your MainPC client services representative (contact@mainpc.com) if your order has not been completely delivered within seven days from the order date. MainPC will contact the carrier and determine the delivery status.

Post-Shipment Inquiries/Shipment Discrepancies

Contact your MainPC client services representative (contact@mainpc.com) if an error has been made in your shipment within 3 days from date of receipt. MainPC will make every effort to investigate your claim and provide you with a status within 24 hours.

Restocking/Shipping Fee

All returns for credit or exchange are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be completed within 7 days from the order date. All returns for credit or exchange must be complete and unopened in the factory sealed product box. Most manufacturers do not allow opened non-defective items to be returned for credit or exchange.

Freight must be prepaid and insured to our returns warehouse via a traceable carrier. The customer is responsible for shipping returns to our warehouse, and MainPC will pay to ship the replacement back to the customer. We do not refund or credit freight charges.

Warranty

All purchases come with a 7-day return policy from the date of the original invoice and must be in original packaging. You are entitled to the manufacturer's limited expressed warranty, if any, that accompanies the product. MainPC does not warrant the performance or integrity of any product, but merely passes through to the customer whatever end-user warranty the manufacturers or software publishers provide with their respective products. MainPC makes no additional or independent warranty. All other warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed. MainPC shall under no circumstances be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profit, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages; the maximum liability for all direct damages, if any, arising out of any action shall be limited to an amount not to exceed the purchase price of the product.

System Warranty

All computer systems built by MainPC come with a 3-year on-site parts and a 3-year labor hardware only warranty that is non-transferable. If the replacement for a defective part is not available then it will be upgraded or sent to the manufacturer for repair/replacement at MainPC discretion. Any work done by anyone other than MainPC will not be covered under the system warranty. Any adjustments, modification, or alterations that do not follow manufacturer guidelines voids any warranty with MainPC.

Defective product replacement

Products in retail packaging (as indicated in the parts description), hard drives and video cards (whether retail or OEM), will generally be replaced by the manufacturer. If the product carries a manufacturer warranty (Intel Retail CPU, Sony Monitor, HP Printer, software, etc.), you must return the product to the manufacturer. Some manufacturers will pay for shipping both ways.

All defective monitors, printers and software can and must be returned to the manufacturer.

Some products may not be returnable to the manufacturer (non-retail Processors, cables, keyboards, etc). These parts have the following warranty with MainPC:

Products with physical damage due to abuse, misuse, accident or negligence, as well as products that are physically altered, are non-returnable/non-refundable.

Return Merchandise Authorization

Please keep in mind that no returns will be accepted without prior authorization. Please email us the details for your request. Detailed instructions about the return will be provided to you when you receive the authorization.

Items returned for credit must be 100% complete, in original, re-sellable condition, with all packaging, manuals, registration card(s), accessories and software. Incomplete returns will be refused.

Returns must be authorized by within 7 days of the invoice date. Within twenty (20) days of purchase, we will replace or repair, at our sole discretion, any product that is deemed defective. After 20 days, the manufacturer's warranty process must be followed.

Please Note: Due to restrictions placed upon us by the manufacturers, computers and printers are returnable in the first 30 days for repair only. Computers, printers, LCD projectors, and personal digital assistants (PDAs) products are not returnable for credit or exchange. Special Orders, custom configurations, and Sony Digital Imaging Products are not returnable for credit or exchange. Additional products may be added to this list as: manufacturer policies change, manufacturer goes out of business or as new product categories become available.

Products purchased under specific government or education contracts and or regulations may be subject to different return policies.

All non-defective returns authorized by MainPC are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and must be returned within 7 days from date of invoice.

Errors and Omissions

MainPC makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our web site. However, the documents and graphics published on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. MainPC makes no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site. All such documents and graphics are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, MainPC shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, MainPC shall immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price. Prices and promotions listed on the MainPC web site are subject to change without notice. Prices for certain government, corporate, and institutional customers may be set forth in a bid or other written agreement between the parties.

Customer Acknowledgment

Customer acknowledges agreement with these Terms of Sale by the placement of an order to purchase a Product from MainPC.
